With the rapid development of non-destructive testing technology, radiographic inspection, with its intuitive and accurate characteristics, plays a pivotal role in special equipment, semiconductors, new energy batteries and many other fields. As a key step in radiographic inspection, image evaluation is an indispensable part of ensuring product safety and performance. Recently, an industry event on radiographic assessment - "2024 Specialised Competence Enhancement Course on Radiographic Assessment" was successfully held in Liyang City, Jiangsu Province.

Focusing on professionalism and exploring the way of radiographic assessment

This training was jointly organised by the Testing Technology Application and Evaluation Working Committee of China Special Equipment Inspection Association (CSEIA) and Jiangsu Provincial Research Institute of Safety Supervision and Inspection of Special Equipment (SPRISE) with the aim of promoting the improvement of the level of radiographic image assessment in the industry. Relevant personnel from special equipment inspection agencies, non-destructive testing organisations, special equipment manufacturing, installation and use units from all over the country gathered together to learn, exchange and make progress.
The training content is colourful, focusing on the conventional ray detection and digital radiography inspection of the image assessment capabilities, focusing on defect identification techniques, and through practical exercises to deepen understanding. At the same time, the training also unified the use of digital negatives, combined with industry-specific software for computer-aided assessment, to ensure that participants can master the latest technology and methods.
